  • Micanopy Fall Harvest Festival. For the past 31 years, thousands have gathered under the old oak trees for the Micanopy Fall Harvest Festival. Many local artists, crafters and musicians, represent works from all over. Along with over two hundred displays of arts and crafts, there are other attractions. The main stage plays host to a variety of good-time music throughout the festival and an old-time auction of items donated by participating vendors. We welcome you to come and enjoy our community for a weekend of fun. See you in the fall!

  • Winters Past. Located six miles south of Micanopy on US 441 in the tranquil town of McIntosh, Winters Past is a true treasure of a shop, specializing in vintage costume jewelry, authentic vintage hats, handbags, shoes, and clothing. It houses an array of 1950's and 1960's rhinestone and crystal designer jewelry, sterling jewelry, and a spendid display of Victorian pieces.   • McIntosh 1890s October Festival. The McIntosh 1890s Festival each October is a 35 year old Saturday event which features all day free family-friendly musical entertainment, over 200 arts, crafts and antique vendors and a large variety of good food. Complete with railroad memorabilia, the old downtown train depot will be open the day of the festival. The grassy area between the depot and the old carriage house will feature children’s activities.   • Hunter's Woodcraft. Established in 1995 in this historic 1900 Marion Co. Public School building. A great treasure trove of antique and reproduction furniture.     Leonardo's Junque, Antiques, & Musical Instruments. Housed in a charming 1902 storefront at 302 Cholokka, the building was "The Butcher Shop" in the movie, "Doc Hollywood" starring Michael J. Fox, the building also served as the backdrop for "Blue Collar Comedy Tour" starring Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy. Leonardo's specializes in used and collectable guitars, banjos, mandolins, violins, antique pianos and carries strings, accessories, and incidentals, and does repairs.   • Gallery Under The Oaks. Come and see “Where the Arts and History Meet” in downtown Micanopy’s Historic Log Cabin built by R.H. May (c.1930). The Micanopy Community Council for the Arts was organized September 2001 to promote the arts of the greater Micanopy Community and opened their Gallery Under the Oaks February 2006 in conjunction with the Micanopy Area Chamber of Commerce. The Gallery features original work by Micanopy area artists and craftsmen from all ages. Be sure to stop in and say “Hello” to the artist working behind the desk.
